One quite lovely Raleigh ladies bike for sale. I've put in the letter that came with the pics.
"A while back I come on a club run , which also included some of your women riders who I had previously met on a Saturday run. The conversation inevitably came round to bikes and I mentioned that I might have a ladies touring bike for sale. This was Marilyn's, who, at that time , was ill with a heart problem. Pleased to say that she has well recovered, but decided that she needs to get rid of a bike, hence this e-mail. I wonder if any of the women in the club might be interested?
It's a Raleigh Pioneer, 54cms seat tube and 54cms from seat pin to handlebar stem. 16 speed indexed gears and the rest you can see from the photo's. In excellent condition with a few minor scratches to the frame. It was built as a club/touring bike in the French style and is a good ride. I'm asking £125. Would you mind asking your female riders to see if there is any interest - I'd rather it went to local riders! David Grimshaw."
